Full house

Tuesday quilting was noisy this week which means that there were lots of women in the room doing LOTS of talking. It seemed to be catch up time as there were some long lost returnees from across the globe.

Chatter involved lots about members who are returning to home shores soon. Melissa is returning to Launceston, Tasmania to let her boys run and play in the cooler climate, eat fresh vegetables and spend time with family. Elizabeth is starting a new chapter in Perth WA and will rediscover the wonders of outdoor cafes and new stitching groups. Marg is returning to Melbourne VIC to reconnect with family and friends. They will all leave a big whole in our "family" here in Singapore but we have new members and long termers who will keep the home fires burning. Come and visit us again girls!

Alison was impressed with the Australian Quilters Convention that she recently attended in Melbourne and shared photos of the best in show. The talent that surrounds us is truly astounding.

There is also lots going on behind the scenes with projects being completed, in some cases sold on (way to go Jess) and many works in progress. Photos are sure to be thrilling when they hit this blog soon.
